Ink printed on high-temperature resistant inner tissue film
Ink Printed on High-Temperature Resistant Inner Tissue Film refers to a specialized printing solution designed for demanding packaging applications where the inner layer of a flexible structure is exposed to significant heat. This tissue film, typically a thin, heat-stable polyolefin or polyester substrate, is used as a release liner or inner sealant layer in products like autoclave sterilization pouches, retortable food pouches, or heat-sealable industrial bags.
The ink formulated for this application must meet two critical and challenging requirements. First, it must exhibit excellent adhesion to the inherently non-porous and often low-surface-energy plastic film, resisting delamination during subsequent handling and converting processes like lamination or slitting. Second, and most crucially, it must possess outstanding thermal stability. The ink film cannot crack, fade, yellow, or release volatile organic compounds when subjected to high-temperature processes such as heat sealing (often exceeding 150°C), steam sterilization (autoclaving at 121°C or higher), or retort cooking (up to 135°C under pressure). Achieving this involves using high-performance, heat-resistant resins (e.g., specific acrylics or polyesters) and thermally stable pigments. The result is a durable, safe, and legible print that maintains its integrity and functionality throughout the product's entire lifecycle, even under extreme thermal conditions.
